On the surface it is easily dismissed as a highschool staple, but to really examine the work it is the manifestation of Freudian desire and Jungian archetypes. Subtext, lust, betrayal, maternal relationships and the failures of the father. This is deeper than just the Fairy tale, Disneyification of tradgey and loss.
This is one of the smartest shows I've ever seen. The ego and the inner voice of truth. I can relate to this, this is what the Big Bang Theory should be, smart but dark.
Much Ado is the play I've seen the most but Richard the Third is the belle of the ball. There is a schemer, a plotter. He is a villain.

“And therefore, — since I cannot prove a lover,
To entertain these fair well-spoken days, —
I am determined to prove a villain,
And hate the idle pleasures of these days.”

Note I've never seen Sir Olivier's version of Richard the III, as the Richard III in my imagination while reading the play is perhaps better than anyone else performance. On a side note, Johnny Rotten says that part of act in the Pistols, was taken form Oliviers Richard III.
Here is the thing about Easy E, he is not my favorite hip hop artist musically, but as an Idea, I love the concept of him. The music he made is offensive and depending on your sensitivity to political correctness, just plain wrong. Yes, that freedom to be loud, that is what was required then.

Meaning that i listened to obsessively for a such a fixed time that I'm not sure if its true anymore. But if you ask what does breaking up feels like, its this. Hefner is acquired taste, I've never met another person to know of this band, with the exception of the girl I broke up with when i first played it.
Growing up in the United States I had a foot in both my own culture and the American one. This show is about a homeless boy who lives in a barrel. Note I tell this to people familiar with the show, that I remember that Chavo tells someone that he is actually not homeless but is in fact from apartment Eight. No one believes me.
She is the bar that I one day hope to match or exceed, and as an English major whose read Joyce, Proust, Twain ect ect it was a relief to find something that spoke to me.
On a side note I was lucky to be given a copy of The Mixquiahuala Letters, another novel of hers that can be read differently depending on your personality. That is a book that women lend out from friend to friend.
I find that people who love thier pens or care what they use know and love this pen. Especially the V7 for me. When I first started to develop an art style this pen was my work horse I would write prose and the pen felt like it would leak out ideas and because of its not so fine point i used it in all my art. I never go without, The Pilot G-5s are okay but nothing compares to the V series.
Clinton was the first president I ever voted for and I think of him fondly but Carter is the honest man who was painted in history as loser one timer. When instead besides LB. Johnson was one of the most successful presidents to push through legislation. I felt people didn't want an honest man as their president, they wanted fantasy, because reality was too depressing.

The Dead Milkmen is one of those things where if I meet anyone who knows of them their cool stock goes up by 200%. I was just a in my early teens when I was exposed to their coolness. They were a punk rock band the way you image your 13 year old friends forming a punk rock band. They were funny as hell and it is one of those rare cult bands. If you know them your just too cool. They did a Daniel Johnston cover for Gob Sakes...
Charlotte: (Through intercom) You may send the next patient in, Marcia. (She arranges
herself at her desk. Smiles in anticipation)
(Enter Bruce. He sits)

Charlotte: (Continued) Hello.

Bruce: Hello. (Pause) Should I just begin?

Charlotte: Would you like to begin?

Bruce: I threw a glass of water at someone in a restaurant.

Charlotte: Did you?

Bruce: Yes.

Charlotte: Did they get all wet?

Bruce: Yes.
(Silence)

Charlotte: (Points to child’s drawing) Did I show you this drawing?

Bruce: I don’t remember. They all look alike.

Charlotte: It was drawn by an emotionally disturbed three year old. His parents beat
him every morning after breakfast. Orange juice, toast, Special K.

Bruce: Uh huh.

Charlotte: Do you see the point I’m making?

Bruce: Yes, I do, sort of. (Pause) What point are you making?

Charlotte: Well, the point is that when a porpoise first comes to me, it is often
immediately clear…Did I say porpoise? What word do I want? Porpoise.
Pompous. Pom Pom. Paparazzi. Polyester. Pollywog. Olley olley oxen
free. Patient. I’m sorry, I mean patient. Now what was I saying?

Bruce: Something about when a patient comes to you.

Charlotte: (Slightly irritated) Well, give me more of a clue.

Bruce: Something about the child’s drawing and when a patient comes to you?

Charlotte: Yes. No, I need more. Give me more of a hint.

Bruce: I don’t know.

Charlotte: Oh I hate this, when I forget what I’m saying. Oh, damn. Oh damn,
damn, damn. Well, we’ll just have to forge on. You say something for a
while, and I’ll keep trying to remember what I was saying. (She moves
her lips)

Bruce: (After a bit) Do you want me to talk?

Charlotte: Would you like to talk?

Bruce: I had an answer to the ad I put in.

Charlotte: Ad?

Bruce: Personal ad.
This cartoon T.V series is a beautiful mixture of humor, philosophy and action. This was made as kids show but it is smart and clever. The movie was not the worst but did not do this show any justice.
This brings us to Professor Layton, for the Nintendo DS and 3DS. They follow the adventures of Anthropology Professor Hershel Layton and his apprentice Luke. The stories are quiant but the fun of the game is the logic puzzles mixed in with word games and tetris like mini puzzles. They are fun kind of video game series for the thinking person wrapped in a interesting storylines...of mysterious deaths, mysterious cities, vampires, time travel and often goofy characters who pose the mini puzzles.
These cards are disgusting and childish sophomoric and I really enjoy them.

My collection on a side note was destroyed by little sister who found them repulsive. I will buy a pack if i see them, as an adult.
